Kogi Governor Ododo Mourns Bamanga Tukur's Death

Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo expressed profound sorrow over the death of Alhaji Bamanga Mohammed Tukur, the former Governor of the old Gongola State and former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In a condolence message delivered by the Commissioner of Information and Communication, Kingsley Fanwo, Governor Ododo described Tukur's passing as a great loss to Nigeria, especially during a time when the nation relies on the wisdom of experienced leaders.

He acknowledged Tukur's extensive contributions to public service, business, and national politics over several decades, highlighting his roles as Governor and Minister of Industries. Governor Ododo emphasized that Tukur was part of a generation of leaders who significantly influenced Nigeria's political landscape.
