Mancini Dismisses Manchester City's Financial Breach Claims

Roberto Mancini, the current manager of the Italy national football team, commented on the recent findings against Manchester City, where the club was found guilty of breaching financial rules. The Premier League had brought 115 charges against City, including 14 instances of failing to provide accurate details regarding player and manager payments from the 2009-10 to 2017-18 period, which coincided with Mancini's time as manager.

During this period, Mancini led City to win the FA Cup in 2011 and 2012. When asked about the allegations concerning a supposed "double contract" related to his remuneration, Mancini stated, “It’s not an issue that concerns me,” emphasizing that the matter has been ongoing for several years.

He clarified that he has not been found guilty and that the alleged double contract is not his concern. The Premier League has not yet determined sanctions, and Manchester City released a statement indicating that the process remains ongoing and confidential.
