David Mark Mourns Bamanga Tukur's Passing in Nigeria

Senator David Mark, the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed deep sorrow over the death of Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, the former Governor of the old Gongola State, who passed away at the age of 90. In a condolence message released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, Mark described Tukur's passing as a substantial loss to Nigeria, especially at a time when the country requires the wisdom and experience of its elder statesmen.

Mark praised Tukur for his long-standing commitment to Nigeria's political, administrative, and economic development, noting his roles as Governor of Gongola State, Minister of Industries, and National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He emphasized that Tukur's contributions transcended partisan politics, highlighting his achievements as a businessman and international figure.

Mark extended condolences to Tukur's family, the government and people of Adamawa State, and his political associates, praying for Tukur's eternal rest and strength for his family.
