MTN Nigeria Warns Against Fraudulent 25GB Data Offers

MTN Nigeria has alerted its customers regarding fraudulent messages and links that falsely claim to offer a free 25GB data bundle as part of the company's 25th anniversary celebration. The warning was issued via MTN's official support account on X on Saturday.

MTN Nigeria advised customers to access the promotion solely through authorized platforms, specifically the MyMTN NG App and the MTN eShop. The company cautioned against clicking on suspicious links, sharing personal information, or making payments on unauthorized websites.

Eligible subscribers can redeem the 25GB data bundle by logging into the MyMTN App and selecting the “Redeem Now” option or through the MTN eShop. MTN also mentioned that customers who received an SMS notification about the promotion could use the link in the message, but they should verify that it is from an official communication channel.

The promotion is available until 11:59 PM on the stated expiry date, and customers are encouraged to redeem the offer before it expires.
