MTN Nigeria Warns Against Fake 25GB Data Giveaway

MTN Nigeria has cautioned its customers against fraudulent offers claiming to provide a 25GB data giveaway as part of the company's 25th anniversary celebration. The warning was communicated through its support account on X on Saturday.

MTN urged subscribers to access the promotion solely through its authorized platforms, specifically the MyMTN NG App and the MTN eShop. Customers were advised not to click on suspicious links, disclose personal information, or make payments on unauthorized websites.

The official 25GB anniversary giveaway is available only via the MyMTN NG App and MTN eShop. MTN provided instructions for eligible subscribers to redeem the offer, stating they should log in to the MyMTN App and tap ‘Redeem Now’ on the anniversary banner or use the MTN eShop.

The promotion will remain available until 11:59 PM on the specified expiry date. Subscribers were encouraged to verify any anniversary-related information through official MTN communication channels.
