MTN Nigeria Warns Against Fake 25GB Data Giveaway Offers

MTN Nigeria has cautioned its subscribers against fraudulent offers of a 25GB anniversary data giveaway that are circulating online. The warning was communicated through the company's support account on X on Saturday.

MTN Nigeria advised customers to access the official promotion solely through the MyMTN NG App and the MTN eShop. The company emphasized that subscribers should not click on suspicious links, share personal information, or make payments on unauthorized platforms claiming to provide the anniversary data bundle.

Eligible subscribers can redeem the offer by logging into the MyMTN App and tapping ‘Redeem Now’ on the anniversary banner or via the MTN eShop. The 25GB free data bundle will remain valid until 11:59 PM on the specified expiry date, and customers are encouraged to redeem it within this period.

This warning comes in response to the proliferation of online posts and links falsely advertising free MTN data as part of the company's 25th anniversary celebrations.
