NASENI Advances Construction of Innovation Campus in Abuja

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) is advancing the construction of the NASENI Campus located in the Abuja Technology Village. This flagship Science, Technology, and Innovation Complex is designed to bolster Nigeria's innovation ecosystem.

Chima Akwaja, the deputy director of Information at NASENI, stated that the Campus aims to help promising Nigerian ideas transition from research and prototypes to market-ready products and businesses. Upon completion, the Campus will feature research laboratories, advanced prototyping and fabrication facilities, co-working spaces, and collaborative learning environments for innovators, researchers, engineers, and industry professionals.

The project embodies NASENI’s principles of Creation, Collaboration, and Commercialisation, offering a pathway for innovators, including those from initiatives like #InnovateNaija, to develop and advance their solutions. As construction progresses, each milestone brings NASENI closer to establishing the necessary infrastructure to transform homegrown innovation into economic and industrial value.
