NDC Ticket Allegedly Sold to Highest Bidder, Okoli Claims

Frank Chike Okoli, an aspirant for the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) representing Orumba North LGA in Anambra State, alleged that the party's ticket was awarded to the highest bidder, undermining the integrity of the primary elections. Okoli expressed disappointment over the lack of transparency in the primary process, stating that it was conducted without proper communication and that he chose not to participate due to these issues.

He reaffirmed his commitment to the NDC and expressed confidence in the party's ability to win future elections. Okoli also voiced his support for Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, highlighting Obi's potential to transform Nigeria based on his record in Anambra State.

He mentioned that the NDC's leadership needs to address internal crises and improve management to strengthen the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
