NDLEA Arrests Trans Fortress Chairman for Drug Trafficking

On February 12, 2026, Kolapo Oladapo Raji, the Chairman of Trans Fortress Global Resources, was apprehended by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Ikat Lekki, Lagos. His arrest followed a sustained surveillance operation based on intelligence reports.

Raji, 57, was reportedly on the agency's watchlist since 2025 due to alleged financial links to an international drug trafficking network. Upon his return from the United Kingdom, NDLEA operatives conducted a search of his residence, leading to the recovery of four large travel bags containing parcels of Canadian loud cannabis, weighing a total of 89.20 kilograms.

The agency also seized a 2024 model Toyota Hilux during the operation. Preliminary investigations suggest that Raji was financing multiple drug consignments associated with an independent distribution network within Nigeria.

The NDLEA is continuing its investigation to identify other members of the alleged network and determine the full scope of operations, with further legal proceedings expected as the case develops.
