New Army Division to Boost Security in Taraba, Adamawa

Alhaji Muktar Galadima, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency in Taraba State, announced on Thursday that the recently approved establishment of an Army division in Taraba will significantly strengthen security operations in both Taraba and Adamawa states. He described the decision to locate the division's headquarters in Taraba as timely, emphasizing that it would enhance military presence, improve intelligence gathering, and facilitate rapid responses to security challenges in the region.

Galadima commended President Bola Tinubu for this initiative, asserting that security is crucial for achieving sustainable development. He also assured residents that ensuring the protection of lives and property would be a primary objective if he is elected to the National Assembly in 2027.

Furthermore, he pledged to support initiatives that promote security, which he believes will boost residents' confidence and foster a safer environment for socio-economic activities.
