NLNG and NCDMB Launch Innovation Centre at Rivers Varsity

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) have commenced the construction of a Research and Innovation Centre for Computer and Electrical Engineering (RICCEE) at Rivers State University in Port Harcourt. This initiative aims to bolster Nigeria's indigenous research and technological capabilities.

NLNG's Managing Director and CEO, Adeleye Falade, represented by General Manager Sophia Horsfall, emphasized the project's significance as NLNG's largest human capital development initiative, designed to enhance the university's capacity for advanced research and specialized training. The centre will also host a professorial chair and serve as a hub for industry-focused research.

NCDMB's Executive Secretary, Felix Ogbe, represented by Director Abayomi Bamidele, described the groundbreaking as a milestone in the board's human capital development objectives. The Vice Chancellor of Rivers State University, Prof.
