Northern Christian Leader Urges Politicians to Avoid Greed

Joseph Hayab, the chairman of the Northern Christian Association, cautioned politicians against greed and manipulation during a church dedication event at the Amaz Grace Baptist Church in Gonin Gora, Kaduna State. Speaking to a gathering that included prominent Nigerian politicians, religious leaders, and traditional rulers, Hayab stressed the need for public office holders to fear God and serve as examples for younger Nigerians.

He highlighted the importance of peace and coexistence among different religious groups, noting that Nigerians should embrace unity despite ethnic and religious differences. Hayab warned that manipulation and selfish leadership would lead to societal disruption and urged political leaders to demonstrate integrity and honesty.

He reminded them that they would be held accountable for their actions before God. Hayab's message called for prioritizing justice, tolerance, and inclusivity to sustain peace and development in Nigeria, particularly in the context of the ongoing religious and ethnic tensions in northern Nigeria.
