Siraheem Announces Departure from Music Career

Raheem Okoya, an Afrobeats singer known as Siraheem and the son of a billionaire industrialist, announced on his official Instagram page on Wednesday that he is stepping away from music. He cited challenges in balancing music with other commitments over the past year, stating he can no longer give the craft the attention it deserves.

Siraheem, who began releasing music professionally around 2022, gained recognition with tracks such as "Bad Bitch Syndrome," "Kowope," "SOWETO," and "TRU$T FUND." His debut project, an eight-track album titled "By The Order Of The City," was released on May 1, 2026. He reflected on his music journey, which began as a casual hobby, and expressed appreciation for the experiences gained in the industry.

Although he is stepping back from releasing new music, Siraheem hinted at plans to explore other creative fields and did not rule out a potential return to music, mentioning he has been working on what he considers his best material yet.
