Ooni's aide praises court for Abba Kyari's acquittal

Ani Uzoma, known as Soul2Soul and a senior special assistant to the Ooni of Ife, commended the Federal High Court in Abuja for its decision on Thursday to acquit and discharge Abba Kyari, a senior police officer, along with nine others who faced allegations of drug peddling. Justice James Omotosho ruled that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) failed to prove the drug-related charges against the suspended police officer.

Uzoma described the judgment as a welcome development and urged law enforcement officials to move past their negative experiences and focus on contributing positively to the nation. He emphasized that the court's ruling marks a significant milestone in Kyari's journey, showcasing resilience in the face of adversity.

Uzoma also noted Kyari's potential to leverage his platform for positive change, community support, youth empowerment, and justice sector reform, which have made tangible impacts on society.
