Osun APC Commends Peaceful Primaries, Urges Calm

The Osun chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) commended the peaceful conduct of the House of Representatives primaries held across Osun State. Kola Olabisi, the party's spokesperson, urged calm among candidates and aspirants regarding the delay in announcing results.

He emphasized the importance of supporting the party and addressing grievances through constitutional mechanisms. The primaries were described as a display of sportsmanship, with no declared winners or losers, reinforcing the idea that all candidates are working towards the party's success in the upcoming elections.

Bayo Ayo, the chairman of the Osun APC primaries committee, assured that results from the local government areas would be collated and announced soon. Sanya Omirin emerged as the consensus candidate for the Atakunmosa East and Ilesa East constituencies.

Oluremi Omowaiy, chairman of the APC media committee for the governorship elections, expressed the party's commitment to reclaiming power in the state during the 2027 general elections.
