AAC Candidate Alleges Adeleke's Election Victory Induced

Olajide Esan, the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in the recent Osun State election, alleged that the victory of incumbent governor Ademola Adeleke was achieved through financial inducement. During a live interview on Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’ on Wednesday, Esan claimed that Adeleke lacked a focus on human capital development, which he described as a fundamental responsibility of effective leadership.

He accused Adeleke of prioritizing "kangaroo projects" aimed at siphoning state funds instead of delivering tangible benefits to the citizens of Osun State. Esan stated, “Adeleke won the election not really based on what he has to offer, but the capacity to promote inducement because all this vote buying was not only APC.

It’s both APC and Accord Party.” He emphasized that a great leader should take human capital development seriously and criticized the lack of visible benefits from the funds that have come into Osun State.
