Oyintiloye Urges INEC to Simplify PVC Collection Process

Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to create a more effective and citizen-friendly framework for the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the state's governorship election. Speaking with journalists on Sunday in Osogbo, Oyintiloye highlighted the hardships many eligible voters face during the current PVC collection process and urged those who have not yet collected their cards to do so and participate in the election.

He emphasized the importance of voter turnout and urged citizens not to be intimidated by reports of violence. Oyintiloye also called on security agencies to maintain vigilance and professionalism to ensure a peaceful electoral process.

He expressed optimism about the APC's governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, stating that the party is well-positioned for victory based on the support and goodwill from residents across the state.
