PDP in Ondo State Reaffirms Strength Amid Challenges

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, under the leadership of chairman Mr. Dupe Aisida, has reaffirmed its position as a strong opposition party despite facing numerous challenges.

On Friday, Aisida addressed rumors regarding the dissolution of the state executive committee, which were attributed to a statement from a faction led by Umaru Batur. Aisida characterized this statement as a "mere figment" and illegitimate, asserting that the Ondo State executive committee remains intact and fully operational.

He urged party members to remain calm and loyal, advising them to disregard misleading interpretations that could create confusion. Aisida emphasized the PDP's commitment to unity, stability, and continued growth, highlighting the party's role in providing credible leadership and viable alternatives for the people of Ondo State.

He called for steadfastness among members across the 18 local government areas in the state.
