Sule Lamido, reaffirmed their loyalty to the PDP and their commitment to contest the 2027 general elections. The meeting concluded with a communiqué urging aspirants to express their interest in contesting for electoral positions and to obtain nomination forms promptly, emphasizing the need for early preparation and adherence to party guidelines to ensure a smooth and credible primary election process.

PDP Chairman Babandi Ibrahim reassured members of the party's commitment to inclusivity and transparency. The meeting addressed earlier speculations about a possible defection of Mustapha Lamido, the PDP governorship candidate for the 2023 general elections, to the All Progressives Congress (APC), which were ultimately laid to rest as stakeholders expressed confidence in the PDP's chances for the upcoming elections.
