ADC Youth Leaders Back Ameachi, Reject Atiku's Bid

Youth leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) across 17 local government areas in Enugu State have declared their support for former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Ameachi's presidential ticket for the 2027 elections. They vehemently rejected the statements made by the state chairman of the party, who claimed that ADC members in Enugu support Atiku Abubakar's presidential ambitions.

Led by Festu Ifesinachi Omeh, the youth leaders asserted that the presidency should remain in the South for reasons of equity and justice. They called on the national executive council of the ADC in Abuja to pay urgent attention to the development in Enugu State, ensuring transparency and peace within the party.

The youth leaders emphasized that no amount of intimidation or propaganda would suppress their voices and that they would resist any attempts to manipulate the electoral process. They firmly stated their commitment to supporting Ameachi, whom they believe represents courage and fairness in the pursuit of a balanced nation.
