Rite Foods Launches Environmental Education Initiative

Rite Foods Limited launched an environmental education initiative targeting students at Opebi Senior Grammar School in Ikeja, Lagos, and Moslem Primary School in Ososa, Ogun State, as part of its commitment to sustainability and climate action. The program featured interactive sessions for students and teachers, focusing on proper waste management, recycling, and environmental stewardship.

Activities included tree planting exercises designed to encourage afforestation and carbon dioxide capture. Ekuma Ez, Head of Corporate Affairs at Rite Foods Limited, stressed the importance of equipping young people with the knowledge to address environmental challenges.

Timilehin Ajibola, also from Rite Foods, highlighted the connection between environmental sustainability and long-term business growth. The initiative aligns with Rite Foods' broader sustainability agenda, including a recent partnership with RecyclePoint to promote responsible waste management.

Dr. Chinedu Azih, Chief Executive Officer of Rite Foods, explained that recycling offers practical solutions to environmental challenges while creating social impact.
