Fubara Urges Discipline in New Appointments in Rivers

On Thursday, Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State delivered a stern message to the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Dagogo S.

Wokoma, and Chief of Staff Sunni Ewul during their swearing-in ceremony at the Government House in Port Harcourt. The governor emphasized the importance of discipline, loyalty, and a firm commitment to the success of the administration.

He warned against unauthorized nocturnal meetings that could embarrass the government, stating such conduct would lead to immediate dismissal. Fubara reminded the appointees that their new positions should not serve as platforms for political grandstanding or personal ambition, but rather as opportunities to serve the people of Rivers State.

He expressed confidence in Dr. Wokoma's intellectual capabilities and urged both appointees to conduct themselves with integrity and dedication to the public good.
