Tosin Killed by Cultists After Robbery in Lagos

Tosin, a man who traveled from Ondo State to attend an event in the Egbin area of Ijede, Ikorodu, Lagos State, was reportedly killed by suspected cultists after being robbed on Tuesday, September 15. According to a police source, Tosin stepped out of the venue during the event when he was attacked by hoodlums who stole his gold chains, mobile phones, and other personal belongings before killing him.

His body was discovered in a river in Agura on Thursday, September 18, and was subsequently taken to the morgue. Following the discovery, police operatives raided the area on Friday and arrested several suspects for questioning.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Tosin's death is ongoing, with efforts to identify and apprehend all individuals involved. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed that the case was initially reported as a missing person case before the body was found.
