Sani Bello Foundation Awards Scholarships to Students

The Sani Bello Foundation has awarded scholarships to students nationwide as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting access to quality education. Dr.

Zakari Ikani, the Director General of the foundation, described the scholarship program as a means to support young people in achieving their academic goals. Beneficiaries were selected from various higher institutions, including Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Federal University, Birnin Kebbi, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Federal University of Education, Kontagora, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

The scholarship scheme aims to reduce the financial challenges faced by students and encourage academic excellence, ensuring deserving young Nigerians can pursue education without unnecessary hardship. Dr.

Ikani reiterated that education remains an effective tool for personal growth and community development, reflecting the foundation's belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. The foundation, established in 2010, is dedicated to improving lives through interventions in education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and community development.
