Saudi Arabia Offers ETA for UK Citizens' Travel

Saudi Arabia has announced a new travel pathway for citizens of the United Kingdom, enabling them to enter the Kingdom using an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) instead of a traditional visa. UK passport holders can apply for the ETA, which allows for multiple visits over a two-year validity period.

Each individual, including children, must complete a separate application as the authorization is non-transferable. This new process simplifies entry for eligible travelers, eliminating the need for a single-use visa for each visit.

Currently, the United Kingdom is the only country whose nationals qualify for this electronic travel arrangement under the Saudi scheme. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia's broader efforts to modernize its tourism and travel infrastructure as part of Vision 2030, aimed at diversifying the economy and attracting millions of visitors.
