SAZU Registrar Urges Students to Embrace Education Rules

During an orientation program for fresh students at Adu Zungur University in Bauchi State, the Registrar, Ag Hassan, emphasized the importance of taking education seriously and adhering to university regulations. The event, which took place last weekend, aimed to guide new students in their academic journey.

Ag Hassan highlighted the need for discipline, commitment, and respect for university rules, stressing that strict adherence to these regulations is essential for achieving commendable results. He reminded students of the oath taken during the matriculation ceremony and encouraged them to uphold its content throughout their time at the university.

Additionally, Prof Musa Adamu Wunti, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, cautioned against engaging in anti-social vices such as cultism and examination malpractice, stating that the university maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards activities that could tarnish its image. The orientation program also included discussions on the dangers of illicit drug use and the importance of understanding academic regulations.
