Sultan of Sokoto Calls for Divine Intervention in Nigeria

On a recent occasion, the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, sought divine intervention for the true repentance of individuals perpetrating evil in Nigeria. This appeal was made during a visit from the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at his palace in Sokoto.

The Sultan emphasized the importance of leaders seeking divine guidance for those involved in wrongdoing. He expressed his hope that these evildoers would repent and lead better lives.

The Sultan commended Mrs. Tinubu for her impactful work through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), which has benefited millions of Nigerians.

In response, Mrs. Tinubu thanked the Sultan for his ongoing support and guidance to President Bola Tinubu's administration.

She reflected on the long-standing relationship between their families and acknowledged the Sultan's role in steering the administration positively. Additionally, the state Governor, Ahmad Aliyu, expressed gratitude for the First Lady's visit and reiterated the RHI's significant contributions to improving the lives of women, youth, and families.

The Sultan concluded by requesting Ulama’s to lead prayers for the nation and its leaders.
