Sunday Igboho Launches Iru Ekun Security Network in Ogun

On August 26, 2023, Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho, officially launched the Ogun State chapter of the Iru Ekun Security Network, drawing thousands of supporters to the event. Attendees, many dressed in matching black attire, gathered in a busy urban area to witness the launch.

Igboho outlined the group's structure, training arrangements, and collaboration plans, emphasizing the importance of member conduct. He revealed that the government had assured support, including a monthly allowance for members.

The initiative, which translates to "leopard's tail," is designed to operate legitimately across the South-West, aiding members in maintaining public order while providing for their households. This launch follows similar initiatives in other states within the region, aiming to complement existing efforts against crimes such as kidnapping and banditry.
