Afonso Moreira made a stellar debut, netting two goals in the first 27 minutes, while Christian Kofan added another before halftime, giving Leverkusen a substantial lead. After the break, Robert Andrich contributed the sixth goal in the 56th minute, and Nathan Tella capped off the scoring with a goal in the 67th minute.
