On Friday, Sokoto South senator Aminu Tambuwal met with the Minister of Defense, General Christopher Musa, retired, to discuss the ongoing insecurity in Sokoto State. Accompanied by the lawmaker representing Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Tambuwal addressed the persistent security challenges affecting Kebbe and Tambuwal Local Government Areas, as well as the broader state.

He conveyed the concerns of their constituents, emphasizing the urgent need for enhanced security presence, additional operational resources, and sustained actions to safeguard lives and property. General Musa assured Tambuwal and his colleague of the Federal Government's commitment to addressing these issues, pledging to provide additional resources and operational support to bolster security operations in the affected regions.
