Two Die in Kaduna Road Crash Involving Multiple Vehicles

On Sunday, a fatal road traffic crash occurred at 1:45 PM along the Kaduna Western Bypass, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kaduna Sector Command confirmed that the incident involved a DAF truck, a Honda vehicle, and a motorcycle.

Preliminary findings indicated that the Honda vehicle collided with the motorcycle, leading to the fatalities of the rider and a passenger. Following the crash, local youth reportedly set the vehicle ablaze, causing additional damage.

FRSC personnel, in collaboration with the police, swiftly managed the scene to restore normal traffic flow. Longkam, a representative from the sector command, expressed concern over the crash and urged motorists to exercise caution, especially in road construction areas.

He advised drivers to obey traffic regulations to prevent worsening emergency situations. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, with the command committed to ensuring the safety of the nation's roads.
