Kwara State: Engineers Freed, 1000 Residents Seek Refuge After Terrorist Attack

In Kwara State, two site engineers and five staff members of a construction firm were abducted but later released. Additionally, 1000 residents of Koro Community in Ekiti Local Government Area sought refuge in Ilorin after a terrorist attack.

The state government, led by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, is intensifying efforts to address the security challenges posed by bandits and terrorists. The state Commissioner for Works, Abduquawii Olododo, confirmed the release of the abducted workers.

The residents fled Koro Community due to the attack, with security agencies reportedly taking measures to protect lives and property. The affected individuals are receiving support, and the government is urging security forces to enhance public safety in the state.
