United Bank for Africa UBA Q3 2026 Board Meeting Notice

United Bank for Africa Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public that its Board of Directors will meet on October 29, 2026, to consider its Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ending September 30, 2026. The bank has also declared a closed period for trading in its shares and bonds effective October 1, 2026, until 24 hours after the results are released.

United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) filed a formal notification with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on September 30, 2026, disclosing that its Board of Directors is scheduled to convene on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The primary agenda item listed is the consideration of the bank's Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ending September 30, 2026.

In accordance with NGX post-listing requirements, UBA simultaneously declared the commencement of a closed period effective October 1, 2026. The closed period will remain in force until the expiration of 24 hours after the official release of the Q3 2026 results.

During this closed period, the bank states that no insider of UBA or their connected persons may directly or indirectly deal in the bank's securities, which include both shares and bonds. The notice was issued under the authority of the Board and signed by Bili A. Odum, the Group Company Secretary and Legal Counsel. UBA is registered under RC No. 2457 and is headquartered at UBA House, 57 Marina, Lagos. The bank's current board includes Chairman Emmanuel N. Nnorom and GMD/CEO Oliver Alawuba, among other listed directors.
