Venite University Matriculates Over 400 New Students

Venite University held its third matriculation ceremony for the 2026 academic session, formally admitting over 400 new students across various faculties. The event took place at the university's main campus in Iloro Ekiti and featured an investiture of the institution's second substantive Vice Chancellor, Professor Chariti Aremu.

The ceremony attracted members of the governing council, management staff, parents, guardians, and well-wishers, filling the university's 2,000-capacity auditorium. Professor Aremu urged the newly admitted students to focus on their academic pursuits and to avoid activities that could tarnish the university's reputation, particularly cultism.

She highlighted the institution's commitment to achieving global recognition for quality education and character development. Pro Chancellor Professor Olabisi Aina advised students to uphold discipline and take full advantage of the learning environment provided.

The ceremony concluded with students taking an oath of allegiance to abide by the university's rules and regulations.
