African Industrial Group Drills Boreholes for Gujeni Community

Following a Daily Trust investigation, the African Industrial Group, led by Partha Ghosh, has drilled boreholes for the Gujeni community to provide clean drinking water. This project utilizes solar technology to reduce operational costs and ensure a steady supply of water, promoting long-term sustainability through community ownership.

Dr. Vivian, Director of the Mine Environmental Compliance Department, emphasized the importance of clean water in addressing public health risks.

Caleb Solomon Guruza, representing the Kaduna State Commission for Environment and Natural Resources, highlighted the critical need for potable water. The initiative is supported by traditional leaders and aims to establish management committees across four communities to sustain the borehole project.

Anand Dubei, CEO of ANRML, noted the company's commitment to expanding community-focused interventions. The project addresses significant infrastructure needs, including roads and electricity, while empowering local women who have historically faced challenges in accessing water.
