APC Confirms No Disqualifications for Ebonyi Assembly Aspirants

The APC screening committee for the Ebonyi Assembly, led by Chairman Mr. Valentin Akwuba, announced that no aspirants were disqualified during the recent screening exercise held in Abakaliki.

Akwuba disclosed this information in an interview with newsmen, emphasizing that the committee meticulously reviewed the qualifications and party membership of all 24 aspirants. He noted that the committee's recommendations have been submitted to the party's national secretariat.

Akwuba also mentioned that no petitions were submitted against any of the aspirants, indicating a smooth screening process. The committee included notable members such as Chief Mose Odunwa, the Deputy Speaker Mr.

Chinedu Onah, and Mr. Chisom Anyim, son of former Senate President Pius Anyim.

The screening process did not involve any fees for the aspirants, who were required to present themselves for evaluation.
