Ondo Health Workers Abducted, Rescued by Amotekun

On Saturday morning, three health workers, including Omolabak Kayod, were abducted by armed bandits at a primary health center in the Ijebu area of Akure, Ondo State. The incident occurred around 2 AM when the bandits forcibly dragged two of Kayod's colleagues away while she managed to hide.
The bandits stripped the victims naked and demanded access to their bank accounts, threatening to kill them if they did not comply. After the ordeal, the victims were abandoned in the bush.
Fortunately, Kayod and her colleague managed to reach out for help, leading to their rescue by Amotekun operatives around 4:30 AM. The Amotekun command, led by Adetunji Adeley, confirmed the rescue and stated that the victims received treatment at a health facility.
Additionally, a 45-year-old man and his 15-year-old son were also reported abducted on Friday along Oda Road in Akure.
