Wicknell Chivayo and Wife's Final Moment of Faith Goes Viral

Wicknell Chivayo, a Zimbabwean businessman, and his wife Lucy Lulu Mutek tragically died in a helicopter crash on September 30, 2026. Following their deaths, a video surfaced showing the couple at the House of Treasures Church Conference, where Nigerian cleric Apostle Joshua Selman was leading a service.

In the footage, they were seen responding to an altar call, raising their hands to surrender their lives to Christ alongside other congregants. The timing of the video's resurgence, shortly after their passing, moved many online, with users expressing relief that they had made this spiritual decision before their deaths.

The crash, which also claimed the lives of three others, left rescuers facing a devastating scene, with intense flames requiring a water bowser to control the fire before recovery operations could begin. Family members, including Chivayo's brother Joachim, were present at the crash site during the recovery efforts.
