Wike Pledges Support to Newly Elected Council Chairmen

On Wednesday, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), assured newly elected chairmen of six area councils of his maximum support. During their visit to receive their certificates of return following their recent electoral victories, Wike emphasized the importance of collaboration across party lines to deliver development for residents.

He congratulated the chairmen, noting that their success reflects the trust placed in them by the electorate and urged them to justify their mandate. Wike highlighted the need for the chairmen to work hard and prepare for the tasks ahead once they are sworn into office.
