Wike Closes Secretariat of Dissolved Housing Committee

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has directed the immediate closure of the Secretariat of the dissolved Ad-hoc Committee on Sales of Federal Government Houses (SFGH). This decision was communicated through a statement by Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media.

Following the completion of the committee's assignments, the Secretariat was retained to address issues arising from its activities. However, with its formal closure, the public is now advised to approach the Department of Land Administration for all matters related to the sale of Federal Government Houses in the FCT.

Additionally, the public is warned to be cautious of fraudsters impersonating staff or officers of the now-defunct committee and secretariat, as they no longer exist.
