Wike Elevates Esu Kwali to First-Class Monarch Status

On Monday, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), announced the elevation of the Esu Kwali to a first-class monarch status during his visit to the Kwali Area Council. Wike promised to construct a befitting palace for the traditional ruler, Luka Ayedo, in recognition of the new status.

He commended the people of Kwali for their steadfast support of President Bola Tinubu's administration, noting that the administration's responsiveness is a direct result of the community's loyalty and advocacy for local leadership. Wike reiterated the administration's commitment to fulfilling promises made, particularly regarding road projects, which he signaled would soon commence with the mobilization of contractors.

He emphasized that the administration would continue to listen to the interests of the Kwali people and assured them that President Tinubu remains committed to providing necessary support for the council's development.
