Woman Fakes Kidnapping, Found in Delta Hotel with Lover

Oluchi, a married woman, was discovered in a hotel in Delta State with her lover after faking her own kidnapping. She initially claimed to have been abducted and demanded a ransom of N50 million from her family, which included her daughter Anita residing in Canada.

The situation escalated when Oluchi's family, believing her life was in danger, sought public assistance to raise the ransom. However, police investigations led to the discovery that the kidnapping was staged, resulting in the arrest of four individuals connected to the incident.

Oluchi's actions caused significant distress to her family, particularly affecting her husband and children, who were unaware of the truth. The Harmoni Ladies Club, to which Anita belongs, expressed disappointment and shock over Oluchi's actions, emphasizing the emotional burden placed on her family.

The police confirmed the staged nature of the kidnapping and are continuing their investigation.
