NSCDC Enhances Security Commitment in FCT on Workers' Day

On Workers' Day, Olusola Odumosu, the Commandant of the NSCDC, assured residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of the agency's commitment to protecting lives and property. Speaking at the command headquarters in Abuja, he highlighted the critical role of private security companies in supporting internal security efforts.

The NSCDC is actively training and monitoring private security personnel to improve service delivery. Odumosu noted the challenges faced by the command, including a shortage of operational vehicles and health-related constraints among personnel.

He emphasized the need for improved communication infrastructure, particularly reliable radio systems, to support operations in areas with poor network coverage. Despite these challenges, the NSCDC remains dedicated to its mandate and will continue to support personnel welfare to enhance performance.
