El-Rufai's Son Accuses ICPC of Rights Violations

Hon. Moham Bello El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has publicly accused the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) of violating his father's constitutional rights.

In a statement released on his verified Facebook page, he detailed that the ICPC blocked a doctor from visiting Mallam Nasir El-Rufai at 3 PM to discuss medical test results. The ICPC allegedly required written permission from its chairman, which they refused to provide, thus flouting a clear court order that granted Mallam Nasir El-Rufai unrestricted access to medical care.

Additionally, Aunti Aichat, his second wife, was denied the ability to deliver food to him at 6:30 PM. Hon.

Moham Bello El-Rufai condemned these actions as arbitrary and an outright assault on the rule of law, asserting that no law justifies denying medical access and basic family care.
