Zamfara Stadium Upgrade Reaches 90% Completion in Gusau

The upgrade of Sardauna Memorial Stadium in Gusau, Zamfara, has reached 90% completion, with the facility expected to be delivered in February. Haruna Dikko, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, disclosed this after inspecting the project site.

The stadium, which was in a dilapidated state, is being renovated to reopen and host Zamfara United Football Club and other sports activities. Monimichel Sport Company is handling the project, with assurances from Terngo William that the stadium will be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

The upgrade includes a pavilion, dressing rooms, sanitary facilities, and other amenities.
