City Boy Movement Postpones Kwara Inauguration Event

The City Boy Movement has clarified that the postponement of its planned inauguration in Kwara State was due to necessary adjustments to its schedule and planning arrangements. This decision was not influenced by any disagreement with the All Progressives Congress (APC) or the state government.

In a statement signed by its director-general, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, the Movement emphasized that reports suggesting the event was boycotted or canceled for political reasons were inaccurate. Shoga stated that the postponement was essential for proper coordination and effective participation of relevant stakeholders.

The Movement reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with the APC structure, the Kwara State government, party stakeholders, community leaders, youth and women groups, and other relevant stakeholders. The new date for the Kwara State inauguration will be communicated through official channels, and the Movement urged the public and media to rely on official statements regarding its activities.
