Dolly Ohanyere Launches Six-Book Series on Relationships

Dolly Ohanyere, an author and lawyer, launched "The Becoming Collection," a six-book series centered on identity, purpose, and relationships, on July 26. The launch event was filled with engaged attendees, which emotionally impacted her.

She was particularly moved by her husband's speech, where he expressed the significance of her work in his life and the potential impact of the books on others. This moment of validation from her husband and a heartfelt performance by her children, who sang Boyz II Men's "Mama," led her to tears.

Ohanyere emphasized that her writing stems from personal experiences, particularly during challenging times in her marriage, which she refers to as the "purposeful storm." She draws parallels to Acts 27, illustrating the struggles faced during difficult periods. Her books aim to address themes of being seen, known, and loved, reflecting her belief that true understanding comes from lived experiences rather than theoretical knowledge.
