Kebbi Aide Uthman Jibo Resigns, Joins ADC from APC

Comrade Uthman M. Jibo, who served as the Special Assistant on New Media to the Kebbi State Government, resigned from his position on September 1, 2026, with immediate effect.

In his resignation letter to the Secretary to the State Government, Jibo cited “deep reflection and a careful assessment of the current realities” as reasons for his departure, along with personal considerations. He emphasized his commitment to his personal convictions, principles, and integrity.

Additionally, in a letter dated September 2, Jibo resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC), addressing the APC Ward Chairman of Galadima Ward in Argungu. He stated that his decision to leave the APC was made after careful deliberation and consultations with political associates and supporters.

Jibo expressed gratitude for the valuable political experience he gained during his time in the APC and announced his alignment with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
