The Lagos State government will begin arresting residents who buy from illegal roadside traders. The enforcement, announced by LAWMA's CEO Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, starts next week and aims to address illegal trading and environmental issues.

The Lagos State Government will start arresting individuals who buy goods from illegal roadside traders next week, as part of a strategy to curb illegal trading and waste disposal. This enforcement is based on the Lagos State Environmental Management and Protection Law 2017.
